We do everything we can to make sure you have a comfortable stay at Gran Atlantico. On arrival, you can choose to be greeted by a basket containing traditional almond loaf, fresh fruit and vegetables from the local organic shop and a selection of La Palma goat’s cheeses. Use the professional-grade blender to make yourself a smoothie with the island’s mouth-watering fruits – depending on the time of year, you can even get them straight from Gran Atlantico’s own kitchen garden. You’ll find everything you need in the kitchen, from herbs and spices to cookery books, Siemens appliances and an Espresso-machine – the coffee’s on us! Fresh fish can be ordered from the local fishmonger. There’s also a picnic basket to take with you on your day trips.
Our on-site team will be happy to help you with plenty of tips on day trips, sporting activities and restaurants.
One thing we really recommend is treating yourself to a luxurious bath while taking in the ocean vistas as the almond wood crackles in the fireplace – an unforgettable experience! Soft, fluffy towels and fine cotton bed linen are provided for your comfort.
You are, of course, also free to enjoy our collection of books and DVDs.
On request, you can treat yourself to a dinner in Villa Gran Atlantico prepared by a private chef: Holger Ilg, who ran a restaurant on the island for many years, cooks in a modern fusion style, combining Asian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and, of course, Palmerian influences. He is happy to cater to your preferences, whether you prefer fish, meat, or even vegetarian or vegan dishes (Holger Ilg, +34 671 201 356).
